OPI Russian Navy Suede

I got Russian Navy Suede on clearance from Ulta back in April, but this is my first time using it.  It is awesome!  With no top coat, it looks a lot like denim.  It's a really lovely color.

See the pretty twinkles?

Swatch: LA Splash Blowfish Fuchsia

I happened across these polishes in the store and they caught my eye.  They were totally new to me!  So I grabbed this neon pink and a blue/teal glitter to try out.  The bottles are so cute and little!  Maybe kind of small for the price (about 4 dollars a bottle) but OH MY GOD this color!!!!

Ahhh!   Perfect!  It's like most neons- sort of matte-ish finish when it's dry.  Perfect for summer.

Swatch: Sally Hansen Dura-Pearl

I'm on a mission to find an amazing color to wear in engagement photos, so I picked up this lovely sheer/shimmery color from Sally Hansen the other day.

I like it, but I still don't think it's what I want for my photos.  But it will be great when I start my internship in a few weeks.

This is not about nail polish

I made this rainbow cake tonight!

Sadly I haven't yet eaten any of it.

I think I need to prepare, like you would for a marathon... except... it's a huge piece of rainbow cake...

China Glaze Peachy Keen

This has been on my wishlist for quite some time now, and I finally decided to go out and grab it... and MAN am I glad I did!  It skyrocketed right to the top 5 of my favorite colors!

Ugh, it is so gorgeous.  Definitely a fun color that I will still be able to wear to work in the fall!  I wish I didn't have to take it off, but I'm trying out colors for engagement photos tomorrow!  Yay!

Orly Space Cadet- Picture Heavy!

I don't really even have words for an introduction, so I will let these (many) photos speak for themselves....

Right?!?!?!  Where do I begin?  There are so many colors here.  There's pink (which was hardest to capture), green, bronze, gold all set in a blue/teal base.  Every time you move your hand you see a different color- or a different shade of a color you knew was there!  It's so cool!

The pictures about show three coats.

Swatch: Sally Hansen Hard Lemonade

Previous to this, I only had three yellows in my collection!  I like this one- it's more pastel than some of the other yellows I've had my eye on, but it's lovely in its own way.  Typical problems I've had with most yellows- streaky, needs like 3 coats to opaque, etc.  But still!  Pretty.

Lovely, right?!
