Grey and Chunky Purple- 2 Weeks of China Glaze

This one was spur of the moment.  My friend came over so I did her nails, and then I decided to do mine too.  I had to remove my turquoise one, and then I grabbed Stone Cold because the last time I tried it, it chipped by the next day and I didn't even get to enjoy it.  I seem to have that problem with matte-type polishes.  So I put on Stone Cold, which I love in theory, and then threw on yet another Milani glitter.  I really like the effect- it's shimmery, and I love the dark grey with the purple.  Yum!

Turquoise Mermaid Nails- 2 Weeks of China Glaze

Well I haven't noticed my nails growing any quicker or anything, but they seem to have gained some strength.  A couple broke right when i started, but now they're all down to about the same length, and maybe it's wishful thinking but something seems to be happening!  Yay!

I picked up this neon in the store the other day and immediately came home and put it on.  Then I found the perfect glitter compliment to it.  I got tons of compliments on this color... I wore it to class, and a lot of my friends commented on how bright the color was, and how much they liked it.  It's a great color for summer!  It's definitely a neon... goes on basically sheer (this is two coats over a coat of white) and dried matte.

In the pictures this looks a little more Tiffany blue than turquoise.  It's pretty robin's egg blue, but it's BRIGHT.

Mermaid Nails: Teal and Gold Glitter

I bought these from a local store on sale (buy one get one half off).  The gold is what I really wanted, and the teal was more of an afterthought.  But the more I looked at them together in my basket, the more I thought they looked really great together.  And the more I looked, the more they started to remind me of mermaids!  So I came home and tried it out, and I have to say I love them together.

And on another note, I'm LOVING these big gold hexagonal glitters.  I will DEFINITELY use them again, and if they have them in silver I'm totally getting it next time I hit the store, sale or no sale.

I will probably do this again in the summer, if I ever get myself to the beach.
